My fascination with Low-Poly design began in 2014 when I was experimenting with different art styles for branding my musical project, Leo Islo.
With each single or album art piece, I wanted to tell a visual story that invited the listener into the narrative. My goal was to keep the artwork thematic to the song title or collection, but also vague enough for the audience to draw their own conclusions.
Through my experiments, I found by combining these sharp-edged vector based designs with elements of texture (in photoshop), new depth was added to an otherwise very mathematical and digital composition.
