For this digital art series I employed one of the internets most mundane resources: royalty-free stock images. Combining manipulated layers of toys, textures, people, and environments I created “meta-stock” artwork as a daily challenge over the course of a month. Theres something oddly satisfying about transforming everyday images into something with a deeper meaning. Several pieces in this series went on to become album artwork and show posters for musicians in Portland.
Mediums used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, stock imagery.
